[CRYOLIST] AGU 2020 session C019 on incorporating ice deformation behavior into ice sheet models

Dear colleagues,

We'd like to draw your attention to the session (C019) "Incorporating improved ice deformation behavior into ice sheet models: a combined modelling, experimental, and observational approach" at this year's AGU Fall Meeting, held virtually from 7-11 December.

We hope that this forum will enable a diverse community to come together to discuss what we need to do to improve the descriptions of ice deformation that are used in ice sheet modelling.

Carlos Martin from the British Antarctic Survey and Tom Jordan from the University of Bristol have agreed to be our invited speakers.

Please submit your abstract to this session from here: https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm20/prelim.cgi/Session/104252

The deadline for abstract submissions is Wednesday, 29 July 23:59 EDT.

Please consider submitting an abstract to this session; it would be great to have you involved.

Best regards,

Dave Prior (University of Otago)

Felicity McCormack (Monash University)

Erin Pettit (Oregon State)

Ricarda Winkelmann (Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, University of Potsdam)
