[CRYOLIST] A023 - Atmosphere and Cryosphere Coupling in the Arctic: Observations, Modeling, and Implications for Future Arctic Changes

Dear colleagues,

We would like to bring to your attention to Session A23 at the upcoming Fall AGU meeting, "A023 - Atmosphere and Cryosphere Coupling in the Arctic: Observations, Modeling, and Implications for Future Arctic Changes", convened by Xianglei Huang(U Michigan), Tristan L'Ecuyer (U Wisconsin), Jennifer Kay (CU Boulder), and Nicole-Jeanne Schlegel and Brian Kahn (JPL/Caltech).

This is the 3rd year that we organize this session. We hope this session can bring together observational and modeling studies of the Arctic energy cycle, its relation with clouds, water vapor, cryosphere processes, as well as heat transport by circulations. We hope this session will give the community a timely opportunity to review the current understandings and challenges ahead for advancing our knowledge about the Arctic energy cycle and climate change. The full session info can be found at https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm20/prelim.cgi/Session/100995

The deadline of abstract submissions is July 29, 2020. Please feel free to share this information with your colleagues. Thanks!

Regards,

Xianglei Huang and all co-Conveners
