[CRYOLIST] Special issue on ‘Geomorphology as a tool for understanding glacier and ice sheet behaviour’ open for submissions

Dear cryolist,

We are now accepting contributions to the special issue 'Geomorphology as a tool for understanding glacier and ice sheet behaviour' in the journal Earth Surface Processes and Landforms.

The special issue aims to bring together studies that inform us about the processes and (in)stability of glaciers and ice sheets across a range of spatial (landform to continent) and temporal (seasonal to millions of years) scales. Contributions are sought that use direct measurements, geomorphic and sedimentary records, numerical modelling and/or theoretical discussion of glacial geomorphology and associated ice mass behaviour.

The special issue is open for submissions, and the deadline is 30 November 2022.

If you are interested in submitting a manuscript, please get in contact to discuss your topic and title.

Best wishes,

Richard Jones, Lauren Simkins, Matt Westoby
