[CRYOLIST] Call for abstracts to snow session at CGU 2021

Dear Cryolist,

The 2021 Canadian Geophysical Union meeting will be happening virtually again this summer. Sessions will take place online throughout June and July, with the framework, schedule, and content of the meeting appearing on the CGU website in the coming weeks.

We are inviting submissions to a session that may be of interest to cryolisters on: "Observation and modelling of snow processes: New advances in an era of big data, UAVs, and high-performance computing".  There will be a focus on Canadian snow science but we also welcome contributions from the broader community that are pushing the bounds on our capacity and ability to observe and model snow processes with the advancing tools, datasets and models.  Full session description at https://meeting2021.cgu-ugc.ca/session-9/.

Deadline for abstract submissions (free) is coming up shortly on May 17.
