The Department of Civil Engineering at Universidad de Chile invites applications for a postdoctoral position to join the Mountain Hydrology Group. The position is located in Santiago, Chile.
The selected candidate is expected to engage in research assessing the value of remotely sensed data for hydrological applications in snow- and glacier-dominated watersheds, including climate change impact assessment, hydrological forecasting, and the like. The selected applicant should have strong numerical and programming skills, and excellent written and spoken communication abilities in the English language. Field experience is not required but highly desirable.
