[CRYOLIST] IACS symposium C11 – TOWARDS THE DEVELOPMENT OF A WORLD SNOW CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE?

Dear colleagues

I apologise for this very short notice.

The above question is timely and only a broad discussion can help shape the future of such a centre. We, the conveners of this IACS symposium, would thus very much welcome you considering participating in that Symposium, the description of which can be found under http://iugg2019montreal.com/c.html.

The Symposium will take place during the General Assembly of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG) in Montreal (see http://iugg2019montreal.com/index.html) but please note that the International Association of Cryospheric Sciences (IACS) will run its Symposia from 9th to 13th July 2019 only.

The deadline for abstract submission is next Monday, 18 February 2019 (http://iugg2019montreal.com/abstract-submission.html).

Best regards on behalf of the Symposium conveners and see you hopefully in Montréal.
Charles Fierz
