[CRYOLIST] Save the date: FOGSS Greenland workshop at Georgia Tech (March 22 - 24, 2023)

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 2023 Future Of Greenland ice Sheet Science (FOGSS) workshop between March 22 – 24 (W-F) at Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia. FOGSS workshop is a follow-on to the long-running NASA PARCA and NSF GEOSummit meetings.

Continuing from last year's fantastic short talks and discussion format, we envision a community-driven forum that focuses on the current state of knowledge regarding the Greenland Ice Sheet, especially on poorly constrained processes impacting its mass balance, geophysical characteristics, and future behavior. The workshop's mission is to identify and advise on medium-to-long-term priorities for U.S. research on Greenland. This year, we will continue building on the research priorities slide decks developed from the last meeting and expanding them to include other new and exciting scientific areas/priorities.

We seek to create an open and cooperative environment that accelerates the pace of Greenland Ice Sheet Science. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are embraced at the FOGSS Workshop, and we are committed to creating and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment to all.

More detailed information can be found on the workshop website: https://www.fogss-workshop.org/. Further registration and agenda information will be released on the website after AGU. Please contact the Organizing Committee if you have any questions or concerns regarding the FOGSS Workshop.

Please save the date!
