[CRYOLIST] Call for abstracts: EGU23 CR1.3 - The past, present and future of the Amundsen Sea Embayment - insights from observations and modelling

Dear colleagues,

We invite abstracts to our session at next year’s EGU General Assembly, 23-28 April in Vienna. The session focuses specifically on the Amundsen Sea Embayment, and is open to anybody whose work is located in that area, including Thwaites and Pine Island Glaciers, the Crosson and Dotson ice shelves and the Amundsen Sea itself. The scientific scope is broad to encourage discussion of all aspects of this important region.

If this session is relevant to you, please consider submitting an abstract to “CR1.3 - The past, present and future of the Amundsen Sea Embayment - insights from observations and modelling”, https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU23/session/45841.

The final submission deadline is Tuesday, 10 January 2023, 13:00 CET, but if you wish to apply for travel support from EGU you must submit by 1 December 2022, 13:00 CET. The General Assembly is being run as a hybrid conference, so you can still present in the session if you are not able to attend in person.

We look forward to seeing you in Vienna and online!

Jowan Barnes, Lisa Herbert, Peter Washam, Tasha Snow & Pete Davis
