The Arctic Data Center is now accepting applications to our free course: "Scalable and Computationally Reproducible Approaches to Arctic Research." This 5-day course is for Arctic researchers and is free to attend, and will cover topics such as scalable computing, docker environments, parallel processing and more. The course is intended for researchers with a solid foundation in programming in R who have a need to take their skills to the next level to maximize efficiency working with big datasets or running computing-intensive processes.
The course will be held in Santa Barbara, California March 27-31, 2023 and we have some funds available to help with travel and accommodation expenses. Please apply by December 5th, 2022. More information and the application can be found here: https://arcticdata.io/training/
