On 30 March 2022, Andres Rivera Ibanez, from the University of Chile gave a very informative presentation on 'Current status of Chilean glaciers and the discussion of a glacier law' at the International Glaciological Society´s Global Seminar Series.

Btw, this is not a 'law' in line with Glen's flow law but a proposed government legislation in Chile, set to protect glaciers and the environment.
