Dear Cryolist members
We would like to remind you that the 'deadline' for abstract submission, set for this coming Friday 4th March, is fast approaching.
Please submit your abstracts ASAP.
The preparations are in their final stages and thus it would be very helpful to us for you to submit your abstract before the deadline.
Further, we would like to inform you, we have been able to secure funding to cover student registration for a number of IGS members and IGS non-members alike (age limit 30 years old). We also have a limited number of accommodation grants for students.
We are pleased to announce that our very own Cat Ritz will be one of the keynote speakers at the symposium and she will finally receive the Seligman Crystal she was awarded in 2020.

Valérie Masson-Delmotte, Co-Chair of IPCC AR6 WGI and CEA Senior Scientist at the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement.
Alexandre Anesio, Professor in Arctic Biogeochemistry at the Department of Environmental Science, Aarhus University
Michael Bravo, Convenor of Circumpolar History and Public Policy Research, and Histories, Cultures, Environments, Peoples, Scott Polar Research Institute, University of Cambridge
In addition, we would also like to inform you there will be a pre-symposium Glaciology--Humanities online workshop "Moving Ice" on Glaciology's responsibilities to society and the role of ice in modern culture and society taking place on 5 April (for 4 hours in the afternoon, Central European Time).
