Dear colleagues,
The dates for the Future of Greenland ice Sheet Science (FOGSS, www.fogss-workshop.org) are rapidly approaching: April 6-8th.
(a) As described in prior announcements, this collaborative workshop will build on the legacy of PARCA and GEOSummit. If you are interested in Greenland Ice Sheet science, we would like to hear from you about the questions you think need answering in order to advance our understanding of the Greenland Ice Sheet.
If you are interested in attending the workshop, please prepare one (and only one) slide describing this knowledge gap. We include more information, and a template to use for this "big question" slide, at this link: https://www.fogss-workshop.org/big-question-template. We would like to hear from everyone, so you will only have approximately 30-45 seconds to present this idea. Thus, little detail is necessary at this stage.
(b) Additionally, we would like to share geospatial information about any current or proposed study regions, on or surrounding the Greenland Ice Sheet. For the purpose of building a whole greater than the sum of its parts, and the facilitation of collaborative discussions, please also provide georeferenced data for any study areas via the FOGSS website. For projects with multiple investigators, please coordinate such that only one investigator submit location information per project. (c) Finally, several people responding to our "Expression of Interest" form did not include email addresses. To ensure you receive the zoom link, please be certain to include your email address at https://www.fogss-workshop.org/register-and-upload when registering and uploading files.
