Please join us for a research seminar initiative, Pal(a)eoPERCS, a weekly virtual (zoom) seminar series for all those working in the broad field of "Pal(a)eo" sciences (e.g., -ntology, -ecology, -oceanography, -climate). Pal(a)eoPERCS (Pal(a)eo EaRly Career Seminars) is a weekly seminar series that promotes and features work by Early Career Researchers. While the speakers will be Early Career Researchers, the seminar is for people at every career stage. PERCS take place on Zoom, and consist of a live streamed short (~30 min) seminar followed by a Q&A session and an opportunity for small group discussion and networking with other attendees. Recordings of most PERCS will be available to participants unable to attend live seminars. Seminars are (mostly) weekly on Tuesdays at 1500 UTC but this may change (please check our website https://paleopercs.com/upcoming-talks/) .Pal(a)eoPERCS is intended as a venue to share research, strengthen our global community, and facilitate collaboration between the Palaeo-sciences. All palaeo- researchers and fans (regardless of career stage) are enthusiastically welcome.We strive towards diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility with a diverse line-up of speakers from around the world, and a strong commitment towards fostering an inclusive environment. Nominations, including self-nominations, of outstanding Early Career Researchers are especially welcome- we are particularly looking for speakers who are from the cryospheric science community and from non-US countries, and encourage you to submit nominations which fit these criteria.
