[CRYOLIST] Warm season snow/ice probability maps (2000-2021) over Canada and Northern Circumpolar Area at 250m spatial resolution

Warm season snow/ice probability maps (2000-2021) over Canada and Northern Circumpolar Area at 250m spatial resolution

The time series (22 years: 2000-2021) of the warm season (April-September) probability maps of snow/ice presence derived from MODIS sensor at the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing (CCRS) are available from the Canadian Federal Geospatial Platform (FGP) data archive and the CCRS ftp-site. They are produced for each warm season over the 2000-2021 period.  The products are generated at the 250m spatial grid.  The maps are provided as a binary raster image of the size 22,800 pixels by 19,200 lines for Canadian region and 36,000 x 36,000 for the Northern circumpolar region.

The data products, format description and other relevant information are available at

http://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/808b84a1-6356-4103-a8e9-db46d5c20fcf for Canadian region,  and

ftp://ftp.ccrs.nrcan.gc.ca/ad/Trishchenko/Circumpolar.MSI/ for the Northern Circumpolar Area.
