[CRYOLIST] AGU Townhall on Arctic ocean-sea ice- atmosphere coupling in the Arctic Questionnaire

Good day colleagues,

I am writing today seeking inputs on how we can reduce uncertainty in Arctic climate projections, questionnaire can be found here: https://forms.gle/asAGkt69FUiDkbFn9

I am a part of a group that is organizing a Townhall at AGU to gather inputs on actions that US CLIVAR (https://usclivar.org) and IARPC (https://www.iarpccollaborations.org/) can take to reduce uncertainty in Arctic climate change projections. We have developed a short questionnaire (https://forms.gle/asAGkt69FUiDkbFn9) to gather inputs from members of the community. By completing this questionnaire, you are helping US CLIVAR and IARPC collect information on past and current activities and support the identification of necessary actions, gaps in our understanding, and resource shortcomings that, if filled, would significantly advance research in this topic area. Input collected from this survey will be presented and discussed at an upcoming AGU town hall (Tuesday, 14 December 2021: 18:15 - 19:15, Convention Center, Room 346-347). Outcomes from the survey and the town hall will be used to inform US CLIVAR and/or IARPC-supported working groups, workshops, focus areas, and other joint community activities. In addition, US CLIVAR and IARPC activities inform participating U.S. agency funding opportunities.

Thank you in advance for your responses.

I would very much appreciate it if you could take some time and provides responses to our questionnaire (https://forms.gle/asAGkt69FUiDkbFn9).

Cheers,

Linette
