Dear Colleagues,
We would like to invite you to the session entitled “Waves and Ice Interactions” at the 22nd IAHR International Symposium on Ice, which will be held from 11 – 15 August 2014 in Singapore.
With ice-retreating in the Arctic and Antarctic in summer months, the wave-ice topic has been rapidly moving from the analytical research to practical applications, including those of wave and ice forecast in marginal ice zones, navigation and ocean engineering problems in the Arctic Ocean, oceanographic, weather and climate coupling and feedbacks of new dynamic air-sea-ice systems.
IAHR is one of the oldest conferences on ice processes, and we hope to see you at its newest topical session. Abstract submission deadline is September 30 (please see flyer attached).
