Dear Cryolist Members
My Name is Craig Frew and I am a 1st year PhD student from the University of Aberdeen. The current focus of my research is looking at the spatio-temporal variability of climate during the Little Ice Age (LIA) period in Europe/ North Atlantic regions. I am now putting together a dataset, using the literature available to me, of inferred LIA glacier margins for the purpose of ELA reconstruction. However, I am aware that I am missing a lot of regional publications/ mapping from theses.
Do you know of any LIA moraine mapping? Could you send me or point me to the relevant publication or key contact (student/supervisor)?
Any contributions would, of course, be properly referenced and acknowledged.
It is hoped that the collection of data in this way will provide a lasting and valuable archive, available and easily accessible to all.
If you wish to contribute or would like to know more about my research please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Best Wishes
Craig
