APOLOGIES, I got the year wrong. The Durham symposium is of course next year, in 2020.
As you are aware of the IGS has awarded the Seligman Crystal to Doug MacAyeal. Several people have contacted us asking when the ceremony will take place.
It has now been decided that the award ceremony will be at the IGS symposium on 'Ice Streams and Outlet Glaciers' to be held at Durham University 19–24 July 2020. The exact time of the ceremony has not yet been set.
