Dear Young Canadian Permafrost Scientists and Engineers,
The Cold Regions Geotechnology Division of the Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS) is offering a $500 sponsorship for a Canadian based student or young engineer/scientist (within 6 years of obtaining his/her degree) to attend ICOP2016 in Potsdam, Germany.
The young researcher must be presenting at the conference as a first author on a paper related to cold regions geotechnology or permafrost science. The winner will be selected based on the quality of his/her abstract and CV. Preference will be given to CGS members.

The deadline is January 20th, 2016 at midnight Eastern Standard Time and the winner will be selected and contacted by mid-February.
