[CRYOLIST] Call for Cryosphere Session Abstracts at GSA Rocky Mountain Section Meeting (May 23-25, 2023)

Dear Cryo Community,

We are excited to announce a cryosphere-focused session at the 2023 GSA Rocky Mountain Section Annual Meeting. The meeting will be held at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO between May 23-25. The session, T11. A Changing Cryosphere: The Rocky Mountains and Beyond, is open to any cryosphere-related topic (a full description is below). A goal of this session is to broaden and connect the cryosphere community across the Rocky Mountain region and thus we welcome submissions from all interested members of the community. The abstract deadline is February 28. If you're interested and/or have any questions, please feel free to contact Randall Bonnell. We hope to see you in May!

Session Description: As the climate warms, significant changes are occurring to all components of the cryosphere, including snow, glaciers, permafrost, and lake and sea ice. These changes are occurring at unprecedented rates in unexpected ways, with impacts spanning local to global scales. We welcome all contributions related to the cryosphere.

Best,

Randall Bonnell, Lucas Zeller, Sierra Melton, and Wyatt Reis
