[CRYOLIST] EGU Session CR5.3/OS2.11: Ice shelves and tidewater glaciers - dynamics, interactions, observations, modelling (co-organized)

Dear All,

With the end-of-year holidays over and many of the cold, dark winter days still ahead of us, what better time to plan a visit to the 2017 European Geosciences Union General Assembly, to be held in Vienna, Austria, during the week of 23-28 April?

The deadline for abstract submission is fast approaching, next Wednesday, 11 January 2017, at 13:00 CET.

You will have seen many emails already, highlighting aspects of the diverse scientific programme, but we would like to draw your attention to a session co-organised by the Cryospheric Sciences and Ocean Sciences divisions on:

Ice shelves and tidewater glaciers - dynamics, interactions, observations, modelling

For further details and a link to online abstract submission, please visit http://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2017/session/22820

For a flavour of what to expect, take a look at last year's oral (http://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2016/orals/20101) and poster (http://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2016/posters/20101) programmes.

We hope to have an equally exciting programme this year and look forward to receiving contributions.

We hope to see you in Vienna.

Kind regards from the CR5.3/OS2.1 convenors,

Adrian Jenkins
Andreas Vieli
Angelika Humbert
Inga Koszalka
