Dear Colleagues,
There is still an opportunity to register for the ANZGG 2017 Greytown conference, which kicks off in a few weeks. We welcome attendance and submissions from the cryosphere community, and are able to accommodate a couple more oral or poster presentations for any last-minute submissions. Please email the conference organiser, Sam McColl (s.t.mccoll@massey.ac.nz), if you wish to attend or make a submission.
The event is shaping up to be an interesting meeting, with over 80 abstracts, including 20 poster presentations, We are also looking forward to hearing from Dr Russ Van Dissen from GNS Science at the conference dinner, who will tell us about the ground-breaking 2016 Kaikoura earthquake sequence and the enormous geomorphic change and hazards this has initiated in this part of New Zealand.
The conference draft program is available on the website: https://www.ivvy.com/event/ANZGG/agenda.
Kind regards,
ANZGG 2017 Conference Organising Committee
