[CRYOLIST] Polar2018 - Demo Global Cryosphere Watch Data Portal

===============================

POLAR2018, Davos

In order to publish measurements, they need to be quality controlled and standardized. These steps are time consuming, frustrating and often boring (read: no publications!). In order to integrate free and open data, the Global Cryosphere Watch, a WMO programme bridging operations and sciences in global monitoring and assessments of the cryosphere, had to tackle these issues. As a result, novel tools have been developed and will be presented during a lunch seminar. If you're interested in quality control and data publication while letting the computers do the boring part, please join in the discussion onWednesday 19 June Room "Dischma".

Sandwiches will be available!
