[CRYOLIST] AGU session on geophysical and geological records of glaciated margins

Dear CRYOLIST members,

We would like to invite members to consider submitting an abstract to our session titled “Geophysical and Geological Records of Glaciated Margins” (Session ID#: 14134) at the AGU Fall Meeting 2016.

This session will focus on unravelling evidence for the growth and decay of ice sheets from the Late Cenozoic through to the present. We particularly welcome contributions from geologists, glaciologists, geographers, sedimentologists, and geophysicists investigating (but not restricted to):

- Geomorphological records on past ice sheet extent and dynamics,

- Multi-proxy studies using geophysical and sedimentological methods to investigate environmental conditions,

- LGM and pre-MIS 5 records,

- Modelling of these processes operating on glaciated margins.

You can view the full abstract and convener team at: https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm16/preliminaryview.cgi/Session14134

We welcome colleagues advertising the session to those that might be interested and we also have an A4 poster available for any university bulletin boards at: http://personalpages.manchester.ac.uk/staff/andrew.newton-3/session_poster.pdf

For any enquires regarding submission to this session please do not hesitate to contact me on andrew.newton-3@manchester.ac.uk

Best wishes,

Andrew
