Dear all,
Registration is now open for:
Workshop on the Dynamics and Mass Budget of Arctic Glaciers
& the IASC Network on Arctic Glaciology Annual Meeting
23 - 25 March, 2015, University Center Obergurgl, Obergurgl, Austria
The purpose of the meeting is:
- to present and discuss new results on observations and modelling of the dynamics and mass budget of Arctic glaciers, including the Greenland ice sheet,
- to plan and coordinate field work on Arctic glaciers with the aim of using the available infrastructure and logistics in the most efficient way,
- to develop ideas for future projects and collaboration.
Participation:
is open to everyone interested in the Arctic glaciology. Registration deadline is February 22, 2015.
Given the current interest in snow processes a special session will be dedicated to snow albedo processes and firn processes; modelling and observations.
Registration deadline is February 22. 2015:
We have received some financial support for our meeting, but we still have to ask for a small registration fee of maximum of € 25,-. The exact registration fee will be published and communicated through this website when available. The registration fee includes morning and afternoon coffee breaks during the meeting.
