UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Faculty of Science and Technology, has a Postdoctoral Fellow position vacant. The position is attached to the Department of Physics and Technology and the research group in Earth Observation (EO).
The position’s field of research/field of work
Specifically, the post-doctoral research fellow shall work on algorithm development for sea-ice classification and characterization, and small ice objects (growlers and icebergs) detection based on synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and polarimetric SAR (PolSAR) techniques.
