Presenters are sought for the Greenland ice sheet paper session at the Association of American Geographers (AAG) Annual Meeting in Los Angeles from April 9-13, 2013. Each presenter is allotted 20 minutes.
Session details:
The Greenland Ice Sheet
Satellites depicted a 97% surface melt extent over the Greenland ice sheet on July 12, 2012. This is one example of how the Greenland ice sheet has been responding to a changing climate. A holistic view of the Greenland ice sheet is necessary to understand the complexity of the physical processes underlying this and other events. This session provides a broad overview of investigations over the ice sheet, including but not limited to surface mass balance, glacial dynamics, feedback mechanisms, and internal physical processes.
If interested in joining, please:
-upload your abstract on the AAG website, www.aag.org [Note: The deadline for submissions is today!]
-email a copy of your abstract along with your PIN # to chen.2889@osu.edu
Thanks for your consideration,
