Dear Cryolist members
We are very saddened to inform you that Roger LeBaron Hooke died yesterday, 10th of March. This was very sudden and resulted from a fall he took while ice skating a few days back. #
Roger was a long standing member of the IGS and served on its Council and on various committees for the Society. He served as a Scientific Editor for the Journal of Glaciology for several years and as an Annals of Glaciology Chief Editor. A full obituary will appear on the IGS website and will also appear in ICE in due course.
