A position as Postdoctoral research fellow on modeling of permafrost hydrology is available at the Department of Geosciences, University of Oslo, Norway. The position is from 01.07.2018 until 31.12.2020.
The PostDoc will mainly work in the newly funded EU-Horizon2020 project “Nunataryuk”, as well as Permanor (“Permafrost landscapes in transformation – from local-scale processes to the global model NorESM”) funded by the Research Council of Norway. The goal is to develop and evaluate numerical modeling of hydrology and tracer transport in permafrost environments, based on the CryoGrid permafrost models.
