[CRYOLIST] Tenure Track Position in Atmospheric Sciences, Oregon State University

Dear Cryolisters,

We are looking for a new colleague to join the Atmospheric Sciences faculty at Oregon State University.

We seek a new atmospheric science faculty member who will teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students; develop and maintain a vigorous, externally funded research program; and contribute to the culture of inclusion and collaboration in the College. We recently introduced a new degree option in climate science and are expanding our undergraduate and graduate courses with emphasis on experiential learning and multidisciplinary sciences. The successful candidate will take a leading role in furthering both the educational mission and research portfolio within the growing climate science program at Oregon State University (OSU).

This position presents an exciting opportunity to develop new course offerings, collaborate with faculty on high‐impact research, and strengthen or complement existing areas of excellence in the Physics of Oceans and Atmospheres (POA) discipline group. Active research programs in POA include atmosphere‐ocean interaction; climate; surface/boundary layer processes; and analysis of model results, satellite, and in situ observations. We welcome applications from individuals who enjoy building collaborations and who will attract new colleagues and students with diverse backgrounds and viewpoints.

We would welcome people to apply with polar and cryospheric interests, which would compliment the research interests of several of our faculty members.
