I have been asked to alert the glaciology community to the fact that the planned memorial ceremony for Professor David Collins has had to be brought forward to Friday 20th January.
I will post full details here as soon as I receive them, but I am told that the ceremony will take place at the University of Salford and is likely to start at midday.
