Dear all
For one week only the IGS Global Seminar is postponed until THURSDAY June 11th – usual link, usual times… This is out of respect for the #strike4blacklives #shutdownacademia #shutdownSTEM and to prevent the seminar being a conflict for members and others who wish to participate in the strike. The seminar therefore run at the usual link, usual time, one day later than usual and right after the ICY-Quiz (see below) organised by the IGS EC researchers.
IGS Global Seminar Series #8:
THURSDAY June 11th, Dr Frances Butcher, Sheffield University UK
“Recent glaciation on Mars: stubbornly cold-based or reluctantly wet-based?”
Please register in advance for the seminars - it seems that you can't register during the seminar itself, but if you have already registered you should be able to use the same link as last week (check and if it doesn't work just re-register). Once you have registered please check the link (you should see the waiting room I think). Any issues drop me an email and I'll try and help. There's a short question to answer - please tell me enough to accept you! I'll be doing that manually, so just be kind and make it obvious... (I'm a PhD student with X... or whatever). Using your work email would make my life really easy. Any issues drop me an email and I’ll help if I can!
