Some shamless promotion...
A paper:
"Rapid marine deglaciation: asynchronous retreat dynamics between the Irish Sea Ice Stream and terrestrial outlet glaciers"
has just been published in the lesser known open-access journal "Earth Surface Dynamics" & is freely available here:

It provides some interesting observational/modelling perspectives on the retreat pattern & dynamic interactions of a major (shallow marine) ice stream draining the Celtic Ice Sheet that would be worth bearing in mind as we scramble to understand what's going on at the margins of contemporary ice masses.
