Dear all,
This is an optimistic message to ask those of you who might be in the UK in September this year to keep the 7th and 8th September clear if you are able and willing to attend the next IGS British Branch meeting which we hope will be taking place in the fab city of Liverpool, hosted by the glaciology group within the University of Liverpool, School of Environmental Sciences.
Who knows what travel or social distancing restrictions will be in place by then but we will be making plans preparing for both a previously-normal “socially proximal” format and an increasingly-familiar socially distanced format. Failing both of those a re-run of the virtual event that the IGS BB ran successfully last year will take place.
Really hoping we will see many of you there, life-sized and in 3-D!
Best wishes,
Doug
