We are looking for two Ph.D. candidates who are interested to take part of the research project "Modelling the ice flow in the western Alps during the last glacial cycle" founded by the Swiss National Science Foundation:
* One Ph.D. position in paleo ice sheet modelling in the laboratory of Hydraulics, Hydrology and Glaciology (VAW) of the ETH Zürich, Switzerland, see the announcement for more information.
* One Ph.D. position in paleo regional climate modelling in the Division of Climate and Environmental Physics, Physics Institute, University of Bern, Switzerland, see the announcement for more information.
The evaluations of applications will start on October 30, 2015 and will continue until the positions are filled.
