I wanted to draw attention to an open Assistant Professor (tenure-track) position in the Deparment of Geography at the University of Oregon.

They explicitly state 'dynamics of the cryosphere' in the position details. Note that this position is part of a new data science initiative at the university, so there is a push for scientists using innovative data techniques, but they are very open to the discipline/topic.
