Seismology of the Americas, 14-17 May 2018

This year, our conference will start with an official joint welcoming ceremony and reception on Monday, 14 May at 5 PM. The conference will feature more than 50 sessions and many events, such as our Women in Seismology Reception, Pint & Poster hours and Mentoring Breakfast.
In addition to the technical program of poster and oral presentations, there will be an evening of Lightning Talks: quick, five-minute presentations that cover a range of interesting topics. The SSA Award Ceremony and LACSC Business Meetings will be held early evening on Wednesday, 13 May.
The Seismology of the Americas 2018 Program Committee is led by Co-Chairs Carol Prentice (United States Geological Survey) and Elizabeth Vanacore(University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez).
We hope to see you there!
